November 30th strike details

All three feeder marches will assemble at 13:30, and are organised according to different groups.

  • Education workers and students assemble at Harburton Mead, Off Marston Road
  • Healthworkers assemble at Corner Gipsy Lane/London Road
  • Council workers and civil servants assemble at Manzil Way, Cowley Road

These feeder marches will converge on the Plain in Cowley for the main march assembly at 14:00

The is an assembly point at 14:30 at Carfax Tower for disabled people who want to join the main march.

There will be rallies in the outlying satellite towns of Banbury, Witney, Eynsham, Didcot, Abingdon, Thame, Wheatley, coaches will accompany people from these rallies to the main march in Oxford, timings for these are as follows:

  • Didcot & Abingdon
    • 11:50 depart from Harwel
    • 11:55 pick up at Didcot community hospital
    • 12:00 pick up at Didcot rail station
    • 12:15 pick up at Abingdon Town Council, Abbey Close
  • Witney & Eynsham
    • 12:15 depart from the bus stop outside Cameron's office, Witney
    • 12:30 pick up at Bartholomew School, Eynsham
  • Banbury & Biecester
    • 12:00 depart from Banbury Town Hall, Bridge St, OX16 5QB
    • 12:30 pick up at Bicester North Rail Station
  • Thame & Holton
    • 12:15 depart from Lord Williams School, (Oxford Rd site), Thame
    • 12:40pm pick up at Wheatley Park School, Holton

The main Oxford rally will be finishing around 17:00 in Broad street. Coaches will be returning between 17:30 and 18:00
